Project Lafiel

I was wondering if anyone here has heard of Orion's Arm. It appears to be a massive, collaborative hard science fiction worldbuilding project that deals with transhumanistic themes. I must admit I'm intrigued by the concept, and I plan to read their website once I have some free time. Does anyone else here have experience with OA?
